A Film on Yoga & the Subject of Love-available with Spanish, Bulgarian and French Subtitles-
A Film on Yoga & the Subject of Love-available with Spanish, Bulgarian and French Subtitles-
In November 2007 song writer & film maker Simon Eugene went off to India in search of renowned spiritual leader and Yoga guru Swami Satyananda, founder of the Bihar School of Yoga, to try to interview him for a documentary he was making on the subject of love. With Satyananda having long retreated into isolation, Simon was assured by most people that his task was an impossible one. But he managed to meet him and was then invited off on a magical tangent, to stay longer and film a record of an ancient, holy tantric festival that was about to take place in the ashram. The Sat Chandi Mahayajna.
The result is the beautiful and inspiring film Love and the Art of Giving, not just a personal journey into the subject of love but also an exploration into the higher aspects of yoga, catching one of India's truly great and holy guru's before his passing in the winter of 2009.

Simon we've paid hundreds of times to see a movie or a documentary and we neither felt nor thought the 10th part of what we felt and thought with yours. That´s why we think it would be fare in this case to pay the price of our copy of your film. In what it transmits, in how it grips you when you see it. It´s exceptional! The first expectations transform into an experience, into a little ride into the heart which I think makes the answer to your question even more powerfull. To THE question! Sarah and Mario (friends!)
In letting people know about the screening of the documentary “Love and the art of Giving” this coming Sunday, I realized that I could no longer give an honest account of the movie. I watch the film and I’m transported instantly to the ashram. In my biased opinion, this film is awesome. I guarantee that you will leave the movie theatre feeling inspired and uplifted, a little lighter SYC Team South Africa
